- Provide technical support and be the main point of contact for all technical inquiries from assigned customers
- Assist with product launches and customer support when testing new products, as well as answering questions about applications, equipment, and services
- Analyze and resolve product and application-related issues on-site
- Handle standard complaints, collaborate with 2nd-level support for complex complaints when necessary
- Support sales representatives in key phases of the sales process with new and existing customers by providing technical expertise
- Collect customer feedback, competitive information, and industry trends to support strategy development
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage expectations
- Participate in important customer events
- Manage customer data and complaints in the CRM tool
- Conduct customer training on products and support tools
- Comply with company policies and safety standards
- Several years of experience in the paints and coatings industry
- Solid experience in technical service and support and/or in a body shop or painting facility
- Completed training as a painter or similar, master's degree desirable
- Problem-solving skills, good communication, and presentation abilities
- Understanding of workshop business processes, secure application of paint products
- Fluent in German, basic knowledge of English
- Good MS Office and CRM skills, as well as knowledge of color tools
- Willingness to travel extensively (including overnight stays)
