Decision regarding pricing and scope of coverAssumption of responsibility for the underwriting decisionPortfolio steering regarding Marine Global Risks Hubs based on defined key performance indicatorsImplementation and maintenance of underwriting guidelines and standards (expert groups, audit, UW governance)Promoting collaboration with related functions in home office as well as between the home office and branch officesSupporting the training of underwritersYour profile:
Completed training in insurance and finance and further training as an insurance specialist or completed studies with a focus on business administration or lawExperience in underwriting in marine insurance, especially industrial risksAnalytical skills and numerical reasoningStrong communication skills in conducting talks and negotiationsFluent in written and spoken English, other foreign languages welcomeWillingness to travel within and outside Europe
