In order to System Integration Rigs, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Mechanical Detailed Designer (d/M/F)

The department "System Integration Rigs" is responsible for the Avionics, Flight Control and Hydraulics test equipment which are used for Qualification and Certification of the different fighter aircraft systems.

A Mechanical Detailed Designer has the focus on the construction of mechanical assemblies using CATIA to design the test components, including the creation of the necessary documentation in form of drawings and also the constructive support through production.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Structural design / selection of mechanical parts, components and assemblies including interfaces and technical boundary conditions
Ensuring the functional requirements at component level
Preparation of the mechanical production documents including support throughout the production
Evaluation of proposed changes and coordination of changes
Active support for existing databases and also support during introduction of new databases and tools

Desired skills and qualifications

You have a successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable training following by several years of professional experience
Very good knowledge of CATIA V5 and knowledge of other development tools such as Enterprise Architect, Doors, Dassault 3DExperience Tool Suite, Capital
Basic knowledge in the field of construction of test systems or comparable
Basic knowledge in the field of configuration management
You have a very good German and good a English communication (written and spoken)
