Faurecia's VIE Program?
The VIE Program of Faurecia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world

as part of your international development, you cannot perform a VIE in the country of your citizenship.

Your position and environment?

Our Faurecia Seating Business Group - Covers & Foam Division is looking for you as a VIE
Program Buyer (M/F/d) for our Site in
Munich, Germany.

Your role and responsibilities?

As a Core Team Member, the Program Buyer is responsible for managing interface between program and suppliers, anticipating the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), and ensuring the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the program.

The role selects and pilots' suppliers from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives.

The main missions of the role are:

Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFQ based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers.
Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyer in supplier negotiations and the final choice of supplier (leads sourcing committee process to select suppliers from list provided by commodity buyers)
Follow direct performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS)
Ensure early involvement of the Series Buyers in the program before the series phase
Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers
Negotiate Engineering Change Requests
