- Establish and nurture strong relationships with Operations leaders to grasp their needs, challenges, and goals, translating them into effective HR solutions that comply with employment laws, best practices, HR policies, and DHR processes. Implement talent strategies to foster associate growth, leadership, and organizational capabilities, collaborating with key talent within the supported functions.
- Offer counsel, support, and coaching on a wide array of HR topics, including talent management, employee engagement, performance management, recruitment assistance, onboarding, terminations, organizational development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and compensation.
- Develop and monitor visual management related to key HR metrics (retention, development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, etc.), analyze people and talent-related data to spot trends and improvement opportunities, and provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to guide business decisions. Partner with leaders to delve into the root causes, formulate and execute suitable corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with internal interfaces (e.g. HR Delivery team, other HR COEs, Talent Acquisition Partners, local works council, etc.). Supervise a small HR team to ensure the delivery of top-notch HR BP support to the Operations functions at our German factories (Wetzlar and Mannheim).
- Engage in various HR projects and contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalization of HR processes. Conduct leadership and other HR-related training sessions. Support, steer, and implement general site initiatives in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Hold a university degree and possess at least 5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of HR best practices, legal compliance, and talent management principles.
- Have a good understanding of German labor law and experience in collaborating with works councils.
- Show the ability to construct and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Display excellent communication skills in both German and English.
