YOUR TEAM:

For the department Project Management Purchasing we are looking for an intern or working student.

As the project management of purchasing we are the interface and single point of contact between CARIAD purchasing, group purchasing and other departments.

We are responsible for controlling the big picture of time and cost.

The department works on finding the best supplier, to source the best solutions and to create a network, that delivers outstanding performance in terms of time-to-market, quality and costs as - the CARIAD purchasing organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Collaboration in crossfunctional project teams from project start to SOP
Definition, development and implementation of operational and strategic goals within CARIAD
Controlling and optimization of purchasing relevant key numbers (material costs, tooling, IPinvest, etc.)
Coordination of project management activities within the purchasing department
Steering of the projects together with the respective brands and regions
Representation of purchasing within the organization and its divisions in the different Group brands
Vital member within the different CARIAD and Volkswagen Group committees

WHO YOU ARE:

Enrolled student in business administration, economics, informatics or an engineering area
Fluent in English, German is a plus
Strong communication skills and analytical understanding
Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
Analytical and numerical mind with strong proven problem solving skills
Aboveaverage commitment and flexibility
Structured and independent work
