Your responsibilities:


  • Support the Manager Business Growth & Capital Analysis and other stakeholders in
    prioritizing and
    executing on Sasol Chemicals' growth ambitions.
-
Identify, value and model projects and opportunities in combination with
market & industry research. Part of your tasks is to transfer initiatives into projects as well as to guide those projects with the project team.

Create consistent
documentation
of
economic
information through the opportunity stages
e.g.


risk analysis and scenario modelling:

-
Support and
provide relevant
data,
facts
and
figures to colleagues in e.g. Marketing & Sales, Business Development, or Strategic Projects & Product Transformation in order to
ensure sound decision making for future CAPEX spending.
-
Research and analyse primary and secondary data of customers, suppliers, competitors, markets, products and industry in new and targeted markets
to provide regional, company or market specific analytical information.
-
Provide relevant business information of projects and initiatives
for regular reporting, budget and forecast purposes and ad-hoc requests.

  • Broad variety of tasks with huge potential for personal development: You work simultaneously on multiple projects in different roles, such as project member, advisor, coordinator or project lead.

Your qualifications and strengths:

-
Minimum bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Finance, Business Studies, Economics or similar.

2+ years experience in business,
data analysis and a sufficient
understanding of
financial
valuation
basics
and
ratios:


  • Fluent
    in
    English, both written and spoken as well as intercultural skills in order to collaborate effectively with global teams
  • Ability to
    interpret, synthesize and summarize
    detailed business data and to
    transfer them into economic models precise, repeatable and dependable
  • Excellent
    communications skills, handson mentality and
    proactive
    spirit that makes you work resultoriented and find new ways and solutions.
