Your mission:

As Head of Regional Deployment, you will take on responsibility for the planning and execution of the FTTH fiber rollout projects in a geographical at the moment including Hessen, Rhineland-Pfalz, Thüringen and Nordrhein-Westfalen.

As part of the CTIO organization, you will lead a team of Regional Deployment Managers and take responsibility in the management decisions and coordinate their execution in the area.

You represent UGG in your region in the activity of Deployment and will work in coordination with the Head of Region, which is the maximum responsible in commercial and representation of UGG.

Management and coordination of deployment projects and their teams with a high strategic relevance for the growth of our company
Manage the partner ecosystem devoted to deployment in the area
Develop relationship management to regional stakeholders relevant in deployment
Efficient and quality execution of deployment process of fiber network within the region with specific focus in one area
Identification of risks within your projects as well as proactive search for solution options, which you develop with your regional deployment team and coordinate with the Head of Region and CTIO offices
Preparation of forecasts, planning and decision templates in terms of deployment

Your profile:

Degree with a focus on business/network engineering/electrical systems. Alternatively, a successfully completed technical vocational training combined with professional experience in these areas
Proven 37 years of professional experience in project management (e.g. management consulting, project lead in fiber optics market)
Experience in deployment projects. Proven technical and deployment knowledge in the field of fiber optic communications technology and fiber optic expansion (construction, law and standardization, fiber optic networks).
It will be positively valued the experience in leading fiber expansion projects, or any similar network deployment projects with several stakeholders in the execution and administration
It will be positively valuated experience in project management with several stakeholders internal, distributed teams, externals and specially with Authorities.
Agile mindset as well as great motivation and positive thinking to take on a technical leadership role and drive topics forward together with the teams
Good communication skills in German & English (verbal and written)
