Purpose of the Job:


Support the implementation of all aspects of the C&A People practices, policies, processes, regulations and legislations within a specific market or area, in compliance with labour law.

Be the speaking partner supporting leaders with guidance and advice in all HR topics regarding people, culture ad value. Support the P&C (People & Culture) market leader in the successul implementation of the People Strategy.


Your Responsibilities at C&A:


  • Ensure efficient collaboration with the managers and coworkers of their market group on HR related topics in order to add value and enable business growth
  • Contribute with expertise and support in a proactive way the managers and coworkers regarding people recruitment, talent management, leadership & development in order to ensure optimal competence over time and secure succession
  • Contribute with expertise and support competence development and performance management in the business area in order to ensure expected outcomes are met and improve coworkers' experience regarding competence, commitment and contribution
  • Propose relevant HR solutions to managers and coworkers order to manage challenges, opportunities and issues
  • Identify and communicate feedback and ideas from the business area to HR experts, making use of additional expertise input or support, in order to improve processes and secure that the requirements of the business are met
  • Promote best practices of culture, values and ways of working in order to ensure compliance and a great coworker experience
  • Secure and follow up that the function is working in line with the mandatory elements of the HR strategy to ensure compliance and a consistent execution of the framework and policies
  • Participate and provide expert input to different P&C projects in order to cover the specific needs of the market or business area

What we expect from you:


  • Master's degree in HR or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as HR Business Partner,
    market/ retail experience and working with Blue Collar colleagues is a PLUS:
  • Good understanding of local labour law and co-worker relations processes
  • Good skills in developing and coaching people
  • Fluent in German and good business English skills, speaking and writing
  • Ability to translate and implement general guidelines or topics into efficient and understandable actions for the business
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish trusted relationships by showing empathy and accessibility
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office
