Location:

About the Role:
The Payroll Specialist & HR Generalist is responsible for the monthly payroll process and P&O activities within the Molecular Imaging unit in Germany, ensuring its quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead salary processes, including monthly file reviews with payroll providers to drive excellence.
- Perform monthly payroll services, optimizing processes with providers.
- Update payroll systems for new hires, promotions, terminations and all payroll payments.
- Maintain accurate payroll files and input data aligned to master data.
- Prepare required payroll tax reports and filings for agencies.
- Serve as an expert point of contact for payroll inquiries and audits.
- Generate and deliver HR reporting and drive project execution for leadership.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, contracts.

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, Business Management, Human Resources or similar degree
- A proven experience as a Payroll Accountant, or in a similar role.
- German language skills (C1 or above) are critical and business fluent English
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be advantageous
- Indepth knowledge of applicable tax and social security standards in Germany
- Experience in preparing ledger entries and processing payments, preparing payroll and tax reports, as well as answering payroll inquiries
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage collaborators
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge and proficiency in payroll software or high agility to learn new system advantageous
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge in particular Excel
