    We as Hitachi Energy are looking for a qualified Supply Chain Management Specialist and also you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of energy supply chain operations.

    The candidate we are looking for has a clear flair for sustainable energy, is highly motivated with an outgoing personality and has the experience and ability to drive the strategy and communication with our suppliers and contractors for our supply chain processes.

    Your responsibilities

  • You support in liaison to Planning & Fulfillment team in the ERP data management under Supply Chain Management responsibility: supplier contact details, allocation plan, prices, lead time, payment terms
  • You support the material price and Terms & Conditions control throughout the value chain
  • You measure gaps tender and actuals investigate on root causes and take adequate corrective or preventive measures
  • You support tender material costing and run tender specific negotiations where applicable
  • You support on analysis and reporting tasks
  • You lead company and contractors' qualifications processes on assigned suppliers
  • You work on improving assigned supplier performance measurement and improvement tasks
  • You support on assigned claim management to maximize compensation to Hitachi Energy and escalate as necessary
  • You support on SCM related local activities for R&D, DTV, New Product Introduction, product cost improvement project
  • You are responsible to buy studies and run SCM implementation
  • You implement strategies in alignment with relevant categorie teams

    • Your background

  • You have experience in the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Procurement
  • You have strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • You brin proficiency in procurement tools, contract management systems, and Microsoft Office Suit-Knowledge in SAP S4HANA is highly beneficial
  • Analytical metrics-oriented, high motivation
  • You are a a collaborative team player
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Ability to communicate well and professionally with internal and external clients
