To increase the worldwide green hydrogen production, large electrolyzer plants up into the gigawatt range must be developed. In this context you will be working closely with our electrical engineering team within the Sustainable Energy Systems (SES) department in Erlangen, Germany, to develop, analyze and evaluate grid configurations and power electronic converter systems suitable to connect future high power electrolyzer plants to the electricity grid. The tasks range from the conceptual development of connection schemes including simulations to the test device setup to proof-of-concept tests. In addition, you will work in closely related research and development projects. You will receive inhouse academic supervision by our technical experts and graduated colleagues (f/m/d).
