Junior Simulation Softwareingenieur (d/f/m):


Our department develops top notch, high fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircrafts, supporting the entire development lifecycle.


We are looking for a software engineer for the development of specific simulation assets and tools which will enable the future engineering and collaborative training capabilities for different platforms.

Your work will be focused on the design, development, integration and testing of this simulation software assets.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Development and maintenance of Simulation Systems and Applications
  • Integration of specific components into Training and Engineering Simulators
  • Test, Validation & Verification of Simulation software and components
  • Documentation of the appropriate Software modules
  • Support to Simulator Operation and Pilot assessments

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline
  • Interest in flight simulators, software development and integration
  • Knowledge of object orientated programming and scripting languages, in particular C++, bash, python
  • Agile Development Methodologies desired
  • Analytical & structured thinking
  • Aeronautical background and/or experience with mission systems would be a plus
  • Open minded and team oriented
  • Fluency in English, other languages would be an advantage
