- Responsible for Android system architecture and architectural principles
- Analyze, optimize and expand existing Infortainment systems
- Define and review interfaces between ECUs in the vehicle and architectural concepts
- Implementation of Android-Assets (Apps, Services and Framework Extension) within the AOSP
- Collaborate with various stakeholders in agile organization and cross-functional environments
- Drive and support the architectural design on component and/or on platform level
- Asses stakeholder requirements as well as write and review platform and component requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in software development or software architecture
- Long term experience in Android architecture/software development and professional experience in development within Google developer environment
- Technical proficiency includes a deep understanding of AOSP, the Android build system, and proficiency in Android app development using Java or Kotlin
- Experience in developing a Google Automotive Services (GAS) Infotainment system is benefitial
- Professional experience in applying modern development processes and working in agile environments (Scrum, SAFE) is an advantage
- Joy in solving complex problems and implementing them in qualitatively sophisticated systems as well as a strong team spirit and communication skills
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

You'll be part of an highly motivated, product-oriented team, where User Experience is at the core of our work. We are building the next generation of Infotainment System within the Intelligent Cockpit & Body domain which brings well-known Services from your Smartphone and other Smart-Devices seamlessly integrated with the infotainment system. This effort goes beyond from today's known CarPlay and Android Auto integration. We are working very closely with our brands, as well as some big Tech-Players in that area. Our mission is, to create an open, holistic in vehicle experience by leveraging and integrating apps and services billions of people already uses in their daily life. The core portion of our Software asset in that area is based on Android Automotive OS, but has lots of interfaces and dependencies to other ECUs. We are also working closely together with Google, to further develop their assets we are using.
