About the Role
We are looking for two Energy Operations Associates to join our growing Berlin office as soon as possible.

These two new roles will be responsible for the trade life-cycle management of trades concluded by our Renewables-focused Front Office and will provide day-to-day support to the Energy Data Manager (Energiedatanmanager) in Germany.

As an Energy Operations Associate, you will be a member of the Back Office and Middle Office team, and will have the opportunity to work closely with Originators, Traders, Service Providers and Market Partners on a daily basis.

We are really excited about this new role, and the commercial exposure this person will have as they develop within our business.

This will both be full-time roles, owning the following responsibilities:

Understand and assist in the energy data management processes (EDM).
Be the link between Origination, Trading, external partners and regulated market processes.
Ensure a high quality of data and timely processing.
Assist with the onboarding of new counterparties by ensuring all static data is correct in our trading system.
Monitor change processes, accounting, balancing group and customer billing.
Reconcile and settle monthly renewable PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) contracts.
Be the point of contact for all customer queries relating to the PPA contracts.
Perform Inventory checks and reconciliations for GO (Guarantee of Origin) Certificates.
And various energy data management processes (EDM) related reporting activities.

About You

These two new hires will support and strengthen our Trading Operations team with their interest in the Renewable Energy arena, and their attention to detail.

As an Associate (Level One) within our business, these roles are best suited to someone looking to start their career in Renewable Energy after education.

In addition, we are looking for somebody with the following:

A recent completed degree, or comparable qualification, in Renewables / Energy Management, or related field.
A strong analytical approach and conceptual skills, with the ability to work in a solution

- and detail-oriented manner.

Fluent written and spoken language skills in both German and English, in order to complete the responsibilities of the role (Germanfocus) & communicate in the company language (English).
A tangible interest in Renewable Energy.
