Purchaser - Westhausen

Key Responsibilities:

Material planning as well as cost, deadline

- and quality-oriented procurement of an assigned procurement spectrum at home and abroad

Handling of procurement processes in SAP
Tenders, price inquiries, offer analyses
Conduct contract and price negotiations
Analyses of procurement markets and research of new suppliers
Development of productive supplier relationships
Continuous range and inventory analysis to optimize stock levels
Continuous review of supplierrelated key performance indicators (KPI's)

Critical Skills & Qualifications:

Completed commercial training with at least 1 year of specialized training
Several years of professional experience in technical purchasing required
Experience in the procurement of electronic or mechanical components
Experience in negotiating with suppliers
Communicative skills (for price negotiations, mediation...)
Substantial experience with SAP in purchasing
Good knowledge of MS Office package
Knowledge in handling manufacturing processes in SAP desirable
Fluent in German and English
