THE ROLE & THE TEAM:


Our Partner Consultancy teams are high-performing teams, creating new and innovative ways to connect customers and fashion retailers through Zalando as the Starting Point for Fashion.

They fulfil this purpose both by consulting and enabling our Retailer partners and 3P service providers in terms of opportunities and best practices and by providing commercial solutions and customer insights.

Progress is measured in terms of topline growth and profitability/contribution margin generated. The partner consultant is the key contact for retailers who are interested in leveraging our marketplace capabilities.


As part of the Partner Go to Market Executive team, you will lead a commercial unit focused on driving long-term partnerships and growth with key strategic retailers.

You will be the spearhead in designing our retailer and 3P strategy and executing ambitious targets, in addition to driving and selling our marketing, fulfilment and insights solutions across our retailer partners base.

Taking the partner's point of view in shaping the Zalando platform of the future, building together with them outstanding success growth stories powered by Zalando marketplace.

  • You work with stakeholders like our markets and proposition teams to shape and execute our retailer strategy and leverage your team and your experience as the voice of the partners in the discussions.
  • You are frugal in your thinking, you have a deep understanding of the ROI of your decisions. You, therefore, help us become better and not just bigger. You also shape technology and processes with our tech and products teams to keep the role of the GTM retailer and 3P partner consulting evolving to one of higher and more effective value.
  • You lead, build and strengthen the GTM consulting community and its ecosystems of stakeholders. You make the role impactful and meaningful. Thereby you ensure and maintain strong team health.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF:

  • Min 12 years professional experience, min. 5 years of leadership experience including leading leaders. Experience in the fashion industry, e-commerce marketplace or consulting is a plus.
  • Masters' Degree (Business, Science, Economics); MBA is desirable.
  • Fluency in English spoken & written; any other European language is an advantage.
  • Successful track record of building and scaling profitable business units and teams in a fastpaced ecosystem.
  • Has designed and successfully led relevant commercial/business transformation initiatives in complex multinational matrix organisations.
  • Passion and strong understanding of ecommerce and the tech industry (fashion would be a plus) with strong business acumen/knowledge.
  • Strong customer orientation, ability to successfully engage on senior leadership level internally and externally across multiple stakeholder functions.
  • Outstanding crossborder thinking. Strong interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Proven examples of success supporting tech and product departments in adapting and evolving partner services or solutions.
