Would you like to gain experience in working with works councils in Germany and you are keen to take the next step in your career?

Here is the role for you. As a

Labor & Employee Relations Consultant, you will work closely with the Labor Relations (LR) Team as well as the business stakeholder and works councils. This role covers both, the administration and coordination of key labor and employee relations activities. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key duties:

Serve as point of contact for incoming labor and employee relation queries/matters
Respond to works council requests for information (in close alignment with the LR Team)
Work closely with Legal, HR and the business stakeholders managing the required information and consultation processes in Germany often related to the following topics: surveys, IT tool implementation, company policies, trainings
Managing the information or approval process with the German Works Councils
Support the consultation of complex projects
Coordinate meetings and manage LR calendar
Conduct LR Project Tracking
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the LR function (e.g., training and information sessions)

Who are you?:

Key Qualifications:

At least 1 year of related HR/Labor Relation experience, ideally with an exposure to works councils in Germany
Knowledge of the German Works Constitution Act
Strong administrative skills and high attention to detail
Fluent in German and English
Preparing information and consultation of works councils to implement business decisions, in close cooperation with our EMEA Employment Legal Counsel
Ability to build long term relationships and put effort in earning trust
Structured way of working, with a rigorous and detailed oriented approach
Demonstrated ability to take a broad view of a business request and deliver ER solutions that balance both business and legal requirement
Ability to work effectively in a global network and build the necessary rapport and relationships to be successful and to learn fast
Availability to travel domestically
A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Organizational Psychology, Business, HR or in related field
