Are you an expert in finance and business partnering?

Can you help us with forecasting & calculations? Do you know how to control the budget?


In this role, you will be the primary Finance contact for 3 key regions within the Motorola Western Europe business.

You will directly support our mobile phone business reporting to the Europe CFO.

As part of the European finance team, you will lead on specific financial matters and be responsible for all financial management aspects of the region's operation.

As the representative of the Europe Finance team, you will be a key member of the country leadership teams work closely with both the local regional business and the wider Europe finance team to ensure best practices.


These are your detailed responsibilities:


  • Partnering with the business on all elements of financial performance and strategy, country leader support
  • Business case and pricing support
  • Weekly business tracking and support
  • Forecast preparation & budget process support
  • Monthly closing activities
  • Accounts Payable & Treasury team support
  • Management and control of discounts and marketing funds
  • Internal and external auditor focal point for country audits
  • Business process improvement and simplification
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards
  • Liaising with fiscal and tax consultants, Lenovo tax and accounting teams

What you'll bring/ Position Requirements:

years of experience in a finance or accounting position and be comfortable using accounting ledger and reporting packages

  • Regional languages are a bonus but not necessary
  • Some experience working independently or within an international team will be beneficial

  • Versatile communication style, ability to presentation data to all levels in the organization making it relevant and suitable to the audience
