What you will enjoy doing

You will coordinate the logistics for liquid helium ISO container movements in and out of our facility in Jebel Ali / Dubai and our helium supplier in Qatar and between those two locations. This includes the coordination of all imports and exports
Your close cooperation with our supply chain planning team in Singapore will help them to ensure a reliable and safe supply of our internal and external customers in the APAC region
Ongoing analysis of product availability from the helium supply source against scheduled orders requires your detailed attention
Building alliances and collaborative relationships with the helium supplier, agents, vendors and logistics partners will rather be a pleasure and not only a task for you
Liaising with the local Operations Team to verify container availability and providing information on required repairs and maintenance will help to guarantee a smooth workflow in the workshop and in the helium supply chain
You will be planning and coordinating with contracted transport service provider for all container movements
Your daytoday challenge will be solving the logistics problems of our erratic supply chain with the help of our logistics partners
You will secure the necessary logistic and transport services from thirdparty providers and make appropriate decisions to select customs agents, shipping lines, ports and other related logistics partners

What makes you great

You have a degree in a Business Discipline or industry experience in Supply Chain / Logistics
You bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in Planning, Supply Chain or Logistics to this role
Preferably you have been managing successfully global container logistics
Knowledge of JAFZA processes and procedures, UAE customs rules and regulations would be a plus
You are able to manage busy and varied workloads to strict deadlines and you are used to working under pressure in a challenging and complex supply chain
You have excellent oral & written communication skills and strong influencing skills
You are proficient in English
Working within a global, multicultural team in an international environment is not new to you
Critical thinking and problemsolving skills is part of your profile
