    YOUR MISSION

    As a Senior HR Business Partner you will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with the overall business objectives of the organization. You will serve as a strategic advisor to both management and employees, ensuring that HR practices are in line with local regulations and cultural norms. Your primary focus will be on fostering a positive work environment, employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization's overall business goals and objectives. Align HR strategies and initiatives with these goals to support organizational development.
    • Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management to address workplace issues, concerns, and conflicts. Provide guidance and support to both parties to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
    • Talent Management: Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
    • Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback. Develop performance improvement plans when necessary and recognize and reward high performers.
    • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the organization and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Support employees together with the leaders in their career development and succession planning efforts.
    • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and employment regulations to mitigate legal risks and maintain compliance.
    • Organizational Development: Partner with management to drive organizational change initiatives. Assess organizational effectiveness and develop strategies to improve efficiency and performance.
    • Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Conduct employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
    • HR Consultation: Provide HR expertise and guidance to managers and employees on various HR-related matters, including employment law compliance, benefits administration, conflict resolution, and performance management.

    THAT'S WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

    • B2+ level proficiency in the German language, with the ability to effectively communicate and conduct business in German.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with a focus on supporting German-speaking regions.
    • Strong understanding of German labor laws and regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively (experience in a start-up environment is a big plus)
