Responsibilities:
Determining and validating the appropriate design of the data center elements and equipment (racks, servers, storage arrays, switches, cabling, etc.), including appropriate vendor and technology selection;
Configuring data center elements and equipment according to defined specifications;
Validating architectural design solutions and successfully present them to stakeholders along with high

- and low-level design, test plans, developing use cases, and engaging in the implementation as a solutions leader;

Assisting in procurement process and cost management for servers to ensure equipment is procured in a timely manner with appropriate customization;
Collecting and monitoring information and analytics data related to the performance of data center to oversee overall operational health;
Conducting analysis on network performance and identifying opportunities to upgrade equipment, scale specs and balance loads;
Overseeing maintenance of library of associated materials for all equipment, processes, and procedures;
Executing handoffs to ensure knowledge transfers to improve operational performance;
Interfacing with the vendors technical staff on critical/escalated network and system and performance/capacity related impairments;
Integrating data center elements and equipment within the design of the organization, ensuring successful integration;
Determining rootcauses of problems identified and performing corrective actions to address them;
Performing physical capacity planning to ensure the facility meets expected demand as well as cooling and power requirements;
Developing scaling strategies and plans, identifying scaling issues before they occur;
Monitoring the performance of data center elements, preventing degradation of service levels and supporting processes such as capacity, availability, service level, and security management;
Analyzing and diagnosing events and incidents, providing proactive and reactive updates on data center components to ensure service levels;
Providing onsite technical assistance and installing, repairing or replacing data centre equipment;
Effectively leading, promoting and recognizing the contribution of team members, creating a positive work environment, developing best practices, performing team assessments and evaluation to facilitate seamless operations and achievement of results.

Qualifications:

Experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Design, Implementation and Operation;
Solid understanding of network principles, including OSI layer of IP stack with deep understanding of networking, routing principles and protocols;
Good understanding of the VMware environment and Network Virtualizations;
Experience in building, deploying and operating cloud solutions on Kubernetes;
Strong expertise administrating and scaling Kubernetes on bare metal and CKA preferred;
Expertise on K8s Interfaces CNI, CSI, CRI and Service Meshe;
Handson experience as a DevOps or Automation development;
Demonstrable knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux operating system internals, filesystems, disk/storage technologies and storage protocols;
Experience working with Helm Charts and building out Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
Experience in writing software to automate orchestration tasks at scale; commonly using Python, Go, and Shell scripting;
Knowledge of systems (Linux, GNU tooling), networking (OSI model, DNS, routing) and virtualization v/s containerization;
Architected CNF Orchestration with Kubernetes;
Strong understanding of the principles of 12factor apps and modern containerized microservices;
Plan for reliability by designing systems to work across our multiregion and multicloud Environments;
Experience developing and using Application & Integration stacks/tools such as Kafka,
Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, Knative, and NoSQL databases;
Strong organizational and leadership skills with adaptive capacity for rapidly changing priorities and workloads;
Ability to work well independently and maintain focus in a highly dynamic work environment;
Excellent at both deductive and inductive reasoning and the ability to make sound problemsolving decisions within a short period of time;
Ability to work within a matrix organization and manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion;
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentational), with the ability to communicate issues effectively and in a comprehensible manner;
