The Solution Architect is responsible for project based requirements engineering. They will assist project and implementation management in defining end-user workflows (use cases) and deriving technical concepts.

They engage with hospital IT and 3rd party vendors to discuss possible technical options and reflect those in data workflow concepts, software systems specifications and other project-based documentation.

They transfer configuration details into checklists for Solution Engineers and production personnel. They also assist pre-sales during tender phase and identify missing product features.

Tasks

  • Work on solution designs, system concepts, and bundle offers based on customer requirements, technology development, and caresyntax sales strategy.
  • Analyze and document requirements on project level.
  • Assist sales team to understand customers' requirements, present available solutions, give best practice recommendations and technical support to variety of stakeholders incl. nurses, physicians and IT departments.
  • Define, implement and test new features and solutions (hardware, software, services).
  • Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of our solution to project stakeholders.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Gather customer feedback and work with Product Management and R&D in elaborating and defining functionalities and features into our product roadmap.
  • Assist project managers and external valueadded integration partners during deployment, incl. technical clarifications and issue resolution.

Requirements:


  • 25 years experience as systems engineer, media technician, media engineer, IT-Systems technician, business analyst in IT or DevOPs environment
  • Engineering degree in Biomed, Media Technology, IT-Communication, Systems Engineering or alike
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep analytical skills
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Experience within medical device industry is a plus but not mandatory
  • Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies
  • Solid experience with Video (and Audio) integration technology and interfaces
  • Understanding of DICOM and HL7 protocol
  • General knowledge of interface and communication protocols implementation
  • Fluency in German (min C1) and English
  • Structured and organized with focus on quality and documentation
