Your role:


Within our company's central analytics department, you ́re responsible for liquid chromatography method development as well as for measurements with established methods for R&D groups of all business sectors, especially from Life Science.

The spectrum of analytes ranges from pharmaceutical active ingredients and semiconductor chemicals to synthetic polymers and biomolecules.

The laboratory applies (U)HPLC, SEC, IC, TLC, SFC and other liquid chromatography techniques hyphenated to various detection options such as DAD/UV, RI, ELSD, FLD, (HR)MS, MALS etc.

You help to set up chromatography methods for implementation in production processes and develop suitable methods for subsequent implementation and validation in quality control laboratories.

As an expert for liquid chromatography, you advise others in problematic cases.

With literature research, exchange with colleagues from industry as well as academia and conference visits you keep yourself up to date and help to implement new techniques.

You coordinate analytical tasks within the laboratory and with other departments. This position is a maternity leave replacement and therefore now limited until end of March 2024.


Who you are:


  • Completed training as laboratory technician with several years of relevant professional experience or university degree in a relevant field (analytical chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry etc.)
  • Handson experience with liquid chromatography method development in a R&D environment is mandatory as well as experience in MS analytics (HRMS, MS/MS) regarding sample preparation, method development and data evaluation
  • Though you ́ll be working in a nonGMP environment, experience in GMP analytics is a plus,theoretical as well as practical experience with a broad variety of LC separations (RP, NP, HILIC, SEC, chiral, AEX...) is beneficial
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to work in an agile team and to become acquainted with curiosity, new techniques, and tasks.
