Beschreibung

As a Staff Specialist for Procurement Energy you will be responsible for the procurement of energy and related service under the premise of the CO2 reduction target.

You will act as central interface to several internal and external contacts around the world to secure the procurement of Energy for Infineon.

By doing so you will ensure Infineon's supply guarantee and thus contribute to our market lead position.

In your new role you will:


  • Contribute to the definition of the company-wide procurement strategy for energy **in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
-
Monitor, evaluate and understand legislative changes in energy law especially but not only in EU with support of internal and external lawyers

  • Evaluation, elaboration and implementation of
    green energy procurement strategies by means of e.g. Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
-
Processing and negotiation of parts of the global energy purchasing volume in de-regulated markets, especially in the EU

  • Quarterly
    preparation/updating of procurement forecasts:

  • Monitoring the development of new suppliers , new technologies and the purchasing strategies of competitors
  • Further
    development of the energy data management system with the involvement of the relevant specialist departments including IT

Supporting local procurement on site by providing relevant information, negotiations and methodologies, especially in the implementation of major projects


You commit yourself with great determination to Infineon's results and your own area in procurement while being aware of costs.

You recognize and use potential to increase efficiency and weigh up opportunities and risks carefully.

Besides that, you are a pro-active and independent communicator and team player who knows how to establish lasting relationships and networks.

Lastly, you stand by your statements and comply with ethical and legal standards.

You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

  • A
    degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar that ideally combines technical courses and business administration
  • At least
    3 years of specialist experience, e.g. in Energy Procurement and/or Energy Management with independent negotiation management

Basic experience in contract law and its implementation in the company

  • Knowledge of the
    Energy Procurement, renewable energy concepts and markets:

  • Capability to outline and present complex issues in a simple manner **without neglecting the essential details
  • Very good
    MS Office credentials:
  • Willingness for
    occasional travel:
  • Fluent in
    English and German
