We are a medium-sized German company with 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of rugged, reliable cameras and mobile electronics.

Motec is part of AMETEK Inc, a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical products.

For our Motec Purchasing team we are looking for a dedicated

Buyer (M/F/d) Operational Purchasing


Your job with us:
-
Supplier management - independent supervision of a defined product group assortment as well as supervision of strategic suppliers from third countries within the scope of operational responsibility
-
Procurement management - initiation of purchase orders and order tracking as well as solution of possible order disruptions
-
Logistics management - incl. coordination and monitoring of deliveries for goods from Germany and abroad

Transport and customs management:

- incl. customs document inspection and administration from third countries
-
Quality assurance - monitoring of order processes incl. processing of complaints


Your skills:

  • Completed training in the commercial field
  • Appropriate professional experience in operational purchasing of complex product portfolios, desirably in the area of electronic/mechatronic products
  • Experience in the area for material planning desirable
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and good analytical abilities
  • Business fluent in German and English
  • Confident handling of MS-Office
