Slowness is a collective of People, Places and Projects that reframe the way we live, work and interact.

Drawing insights from regenerative agriculture, adaptive reuse and the slow movement, we are currently developing places around the world that offer a deeper, more conscious and collaborative form of hospitality.

The places include our Berlin flagship campus Flussbad on the Spree riverside, where we recently opened the semi-subterranean performance space

  • Reethaus and regulary host private and cultural events. We are currently in different stages of developing several other places, including a countryside retreat in the Uckermark region, a healthcentered Hotel at lake Tegernsee, such as a hotel, a beach restaurant and a farm in Portugal.

This role would support the sales and positioning of the Reethaus and the emerging Flussbad campus. You will contribute to a work environment that is respectful, considerate, team-oriented, and open to dialogue.


Tasks:


  • Assist with the sales and inquiry process for all of our places in the destination Berlin.
  • Conduct research on various topics within the hospitality industry, especially comparative inmarket analysis.
  • Occasionally be in charge of site visits for prospective clients and ensuring the Reethaus is ready and presentable.
  • Support the turnover process
- from booked business to the event operations team.

  • Maintain and support the evolution of documents and creative assets like decks/presentations, such as proposals.
  • Keep our master calendar up to date, and monitor timelines and deliverables.
  • Support with the client database entry, prospecting initiatives, and entering inquiries and proposals.
  • Assist with office and administrative tasks.

Requirements:


  • Genuine interest in trends within the hospitality world.
  • You identify with the principles and the ethos of Slowness.
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity, and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and a high servicelevel mindset.
  • Analytical ability and natural curiosity about datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Ideally, you look to convert the internship into a longterm employment.
