The
Supervisor Logistics
(f/m/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for all logistic Operations regarding Reagents and ensuring import and export compliance for our
Krefeld manufacturing Site.

This position is part of the Logistics department located in
Krefeld and will be an

You will be a part of the Logistics Team and report to the Senior Manager Reagent Manufacturing responsible for all Production Operations on Site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Be responsible for all tasks related to distribution center shipments (shipment of our products from our manufacturing center to the distributors).
To collaborate with customs authorities for import and export in the role as a competent expert including the creation of customs documents.
Be responsible for import and export for the entire German Beckman Coulter GmbH and its subsidiaries.
Take the lead in customs audits and ensure customs compliance for Beckman Coulter GmbH together with Senior Manager Production Operations.
Support consolidation point (3PL) team and other departments in all customs related activities.
Be responsible to drive and Improve Logistics & Distribution related KPI's (ontimedelivery, service returns, etc).
To lead team of associates as direct reports.

The essential requirements of the job include:

A Bachelor degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or any similar education within the logistics industry.
At least 35 years of experience in logistics and supply chain
Excellent experience and negotiation skills in the daily business with customs authorities for import and export in the EU regarding the UZK (Europäischer Unionszollkodex).
Proven knowledge and deep experience in creation of customs documents (UZK)
Advanced experience in using "ATLAS"
Experienced in managing third party logistic operations and relationships
Proven leadership and management skills
Language skills: Fluent and professional German, fluent in English
