What we do:

Working in the digitalization unit in Trading & Origination


The Customer Solutions department is a team of product owners, process managers and data specialists responsible for driving the digitalization of Statkraft's origination and market access businesses.

Products we own and operate are at the epicentre of Statkraft's customer business activities and build an important bridge between our customers, front-office, energy management and back-office teams and systems.

The team's goal is to create a common scalable approach across physical market access activities and origination and help Statkraft drive energy transition in a transparent, robust, and data-driven way.

As a Data Scientist in the Customer Solutions team, you'll:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the data landscape in the Statkraft's Amrket Access and Origination businesses and the country-specific processes
  • Maintain the existing infrastructure and build new tools for data analysis, visualization and tracking data completeness and data quality
  • Support Product Owners by answering datadriven questions about the state of the platform, such as: identifying patterns in masterdata and numerical data and flagging outliers
  • Define detailed requirements related to dataflows for business process implementation
  • Improve our operational quality level through development of error detection and monitoring as well as ensuring that the products always run seamlessly
  • Collect usage data on the analysis platform to support users in finding accurate data
  • Provide support to CRM Product Owner as part of the Development Team for our internal Customers.
  • Impact analysis of new implementations on the existing systems and process models
  • Develop and maintain relevant documentation
  • Work in an agile environment within a strong team of Product owners and process managers

Qualifications:


About you:

We look for an experienced Data Analyst with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions


These include:

  • University degree in engineering, natural sciences or business
  • Experience in energy markets and energy management is a MUST
  • Advanced skills in Python, SQL and objectoriented programming
  • Some experience with Apex is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong cross team collaboration with an ability to effectively influence decisions, direction, and outcomes
  • Demonstrable achievement within a resultsdriven, highly ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, good command of German is appreciated.
