Criteo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the EMEA Enterprise Team as Director Activation for Central Europe (CEU).

In this role you will be accountable for building our sales and account strategist teams to service commercial partnerships in the CEU region.

Your focus will be revenue growth across new and existing products work to expand our client


Our immediate focus is to unite our Marketing Services and Retail Media teams into a new Enterprise business unit designed to service the complex needs of Criteo's Enterprise customers.

In this role, your primary leadership task will be to bring together two sales teams for more synergies and organize them for success based on the customer needs.


As the leader of Activation, you will focus on developing our relationships with advertisers and agencies to enable Criteo to deliver a growth agenda across a variety of commerce media strategies including onsite retail media and offsite media activations.

You will bring your market relationships, commercial knowledge, management capabilities and new business expertise to brands, agencies and retailer relationships, with attention to developing sales excellence that can be replicated across the region.


You will have a proven track record of leading teams of people, and you will have experience pitching, upselling and cross selling client to respond to evolving needs.

You must be comfortable working cross-functionally and have experience with leadership, with the ability to drive sales excellence and best practice selling within a team.


You will manage managers and teams working with retailers, brands and agencies with a strong focus on account development, account strategy and customer relationship management.

Your ability to lead by example, handle numbers, motivate staff and work with cross-functional partners at all levels of the business is essential.


Your Role

  • Lead and oversee the team including a commercial team in the CEU region.
  • Partner closely with the MD CEU to contribute to sales strategy, people development, team performance and client development.
  • Partner with the Head of Monetisation to ensure that commercial opportunities in developing the retailer partnerships are met with the right sales strategy.
  • Be an inclusive, respected and caring leader and manager for your team, and a trustworthy business partner for your clients
  • Build and maintain Clevel relationships with your clients and other relevant stakeholders of the industry
  • Over achieve net revenue targets by growing and upselling existing clients and by using your network to win new clients
  • Negotiate sometimes complex multiyear deals, ensuring Criteo's profitability
  • Drive a positive and strong will do attitude across your team, by setting and executing a clear vision and strategy to achieve your goals
  • Ensure wellbeing of teams to create a diverse & positive working environment especially through 2023 enterprise transformation
  • Closely collaborate with the Monetisation Team, by communicating extensively and ensuring the opportunity understanding across our portfolio of retailers
  • Work with the Marketing team to execute the plan and increase Criteo's awareness enterprise full stack full funnel leadership in France and develop strategy and case studies of successful enterprise campaigns to showcase customers full funnel efficiencies
  • Identify flaws, risks, threats and deploy crossfunctional workstreams to increase efficiency
  • Always stay uptodate on product features, positioning, gotomarket strategy by collaborating with our Product, Product Marketing and Solutions Architect Teams
  • Drive by the objective of revenue growth of your team, you are a handson and a direct contributor to the revenue thought your network (Agency and Advertiser)
  • Develop a culture of customercentricity across all teams, evolving our working processes and capabilities in line with expectation.
  • Prepare and implement commercial strategy to deliver important revenue growth.
  • Directly manage the demandside agency and brand teams, including new business sales and account strategy teams, and sales support.
  • Maintain senior relationships with retailers, brands and agencies to influence their performance strategy, including supporting the teams by participating in key meetings.
