I am standing up against the WAR! Are You?

Are we really spreading Peace?

I refuse to be a bystander to abuse or violence. Is that so? How can we just stand by and watch as innocent people are killed? Should we really be bombing hospitals and killing children?  Is it human to deliberately destroy cities? To speak out

In accordance to the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him), even during times of war, it is forbidden to deliberately harm or murder women, children, or the elderly. Neither should anyone target a religious figure or a house of worship.

How about this for fairness?

The injustices on the Palestinians continue and according to Palestinians officials about 200,000 housing units have been completely or partially been destroyed in Gaza. An estimated 1.4 million people are internally displaced. A total of 219 schools, including at least 29 UNRWA campuses, have been damaged or destroyed.

I pray that God would protect the Palestinian people from any additional atrocities.

Now more than ever, people of all backgrounds and beliefs must work together to create a peaceful world where everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Keep in mind that we are human beings, and that our humanity comes before anything else. By putting our common humanity first, we can work together to build a more peaceful society in which difference is celebrated and disagreements are worked out amicably. Understanding that our differences serve to enrich rather than separate us is essential in fostering empathy and compassion.

Peace is an abstract concept that can be undermined. For instance, Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory brings calm to Zionists while wreaking havoc on the Palestinians. For this reason, we have the concept of Justice. When it comes to Islam, justice takes precedence over faith. Because peace can only be achieved if justice has been done. The West leaders, they keep spreading the concept of peace as a shield for their own power. 

Leaders aren't doing anything to end the war in good faith. With politics taking precedence over peace, this situation is dangerously close to escalating into World War 3.

Let's pray

Hence Instead of favoring one side and trampling on the rights of the other, may Allah provide the world's major nations the wisdom to establish justice on both sides and bring about peace. God willing, one day soon the globe will be at peace.
