Local Unit & Position Description:

Within Maritime Advisory the Ship Performance Center provides services to help owner, designers and yards to make their ships more efficient.

We utilized computational fluid dynamic analysis and provide world leading service on hull shape optimization, trim optimization, computation of loads and performance of wind propulsion systems.

We are looking for a student assistant to support our engineering projects

Typical tasks include:
- preparation of 3D geometry models from 2D drawings
- preparation of ship profile pictures
- support in setting up CFD computations
- support in other engineering tasks.

Position Qualifications:

Following qualifications are required:
- general knowledge in Naval Architecture and Engineering, e.g. a bachelors degree in Naval Architecture, Enginneering or similar.
- experience with 3D modeling tools
- general knowledge in fluid dynamics
