We are looking for a highly motivated assistant to support our team in day-to-day business affairs and some special projects from time to time.

The team you will be joining: Continental Power and Commodity Solutions Legal within the RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) Legal & Compliance Department based in Essen.

Our focus lies on providing legal advice to the Continental Power Trading business unit, Commodity Solutions and Commercial Asset Optimisation Power Continental Europe.

We strive to help make the energy transition happen and shaping RWEST to be fit for the future

How can you personally support us in our "mission":

Contribute to the general administration and coordination of activities within the team and provide support to team members as required incl. diary and meeting management, overall planning of internal and external meetings / workshops in German and English etc.
Preparing legal and other documents (Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint or Excel) in German and English language and support document management including version management, archiving etc.
Support procurement process (i.e. BANF process)
Planning, organising of business travel and settlement of travel expenses
Working closely and trustfully with team assistants of other teams across the organisation

Your powerful skills

Ability to work in a busy environment without constant supervision and ability to prioritize and organise work effectively, ensuring excellent attention to detail
Strong team player with excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
Excellent command of English and German, both written and spoken
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Open minded, open to develop, grow, improve oneself and the team

Advantageous, but not a must

Knowledge of the RWE Group and the business of RWEST
