- Receives and processes customer quotes, orders, inquires, and complaints in German or English language
- Independent preparation of cost estimates and offers
- Determination of customer requirements
- Delivery time determination and delivery date monitoring
- Ordering (intercompany and external suppliers)
- Organization of transport of machines to the service center
- Post-processing and translation of repair finding reports
- Project preparation and support for pump repairs and upgrades
- Finding technical information and solutions to specific problems
- Customer advice and support in German and English
- Technical and commercial customer visits
- Other duties as assigned
- Technical studies (Bachelor or Master) or mechanical engineering technician (Techniker Maschinenbau), Bachelor Professional of Technical Management (Technischer Fachwirt oder Betriebswirt), no professional experience is required
- Fluency in written and spoken German
- Good written and spoken English knowledge
- Good computer skills in common MS Office applications
- Strong and friendly communication and team skills

Job Summary:
Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer). This position maintains an on-going business relationship with customers and daily interactions with Sales Engineers, external and intercompany suppliers, Technical Solutions and Commercial Operations Engineers to meet on-time delivery commitments for Pump repairs, upgrades, and spare parts to customers.
You will act as a technical inside salesperson, in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at connected intercompany sites, and external suppliers.
