- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, upholding regulatory standards and best practices specific to the category.
- Stay updated on market trends, supplier performance, and industry advancements in the related category to spot enhancement opportunities and manage risks.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee the contract lifecycle, including drafting and finalizing agreements to minimize risks and maximize value in the respective category.
- Offer mentorship and direction to junior procurement team members in the specified category, supporting their professional advancement.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, focusing on indirect areas like professional services, IT, or infrastructure (as per the role).
- Demonstrated success in managing sourcing projects, contract negotiations, and achieving cost savings within the given category.
- Possess strong analytical skills for data analysis, trend identification, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to establish relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
