- Collaborate closely with account management to boost usage among Aerospace and Defense accounts.
- Identify and prioritize strategic short- and long-term activities to drive account growth.
- Become a specialist in the application of all Altair products, specifically EM and Electronics Solutions.
- Analyze customers' technical needs, requirements, and current engineering workflows.
- Establish relationships with customers, qualify opportunities, and propose tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers, handling all technical activities such as presales, support, consulting, and training.
- Coordinate pre- and post-sales support for Altair products, including evaluation, benchmarking, and training within the EM product range.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure customer needs are addressed and help prioritize business requirements for enhanced functionality.
- Manage the engagement with local experts and their interaction with A&D customers.
- Experience and knowledge of antenna design/placement, radio/radar coverage, and EMC/EMI applications.
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools like Feko, CST, or HFSS.
- Ability to engage effectively with technical users and management at all levels.
- Proficient in oral and written communication in English.
- Minimum of a master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of electromagnetic principles.
- Excellent presentation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Europe.

What You Will Do
You will serve as the main technical consultant, dedicated to expanding the utilization of Altair solutions for electronic system design, particularly focusing on high-frequency electromagnetics applications. Your primary responsibility will involve engaging with customers and prospects within the Aerospace and Defense Industry vertical in the EMEA region.
