    Title: Senior Automation Engineer

    Location: Bremen Area, Germany

    Type: Contract / Freelance (6 months+)

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing requirement specifications and evaluating functional specifications with a focus on pharmaceutical industry needs.
    • Crafting automation systems and network designs.
    • Analyzing and upkeeping software on PLCs and SCADA systems.
    • Managing automation and networking projects from inception to approval, aligning with industry standards.
    • Assisting subcontractors during installation and problem-solving phases.
    • Enhancing and integrating current automation systems into networks.
    • Collaborating on the practical and conceptual aspects of planning new automation-driven production lines.
    • Documenting modifications and system expansions, potentially with relevant qualification records.
    • Conducting on-site repairs, emergency interventions, and acceptance tests.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in automation technology.
    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in process control and automation technology, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector with a background in GMP guidelines.
    • Excellent proficiency in automation technology, including Siemens S7, TIA, PCS7, and WINCC.
    • Fundamental understanding of extensive control systems such as MES and ERP, as well as administration of MS Windows Server systems.
    • Knowledge in electrical engineering is advantageous.
    • Passion for implementing intricate automation concepts.
    • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in German and English.
