The Legal Assistant for the Global Partner Program is responsible for a broad spectrum of administrative and contractual matters within AVEVA's Global Partner Program.

They must have the capacity to evaluate and manage administrative and contractual issues and business needs quickly and effectively.

The Legal Assistant for the Global Partner Program will collaborate with internal stakeholders to enable the conclusion of commercial / business related agreements, review contract documents, redirect nonstandard contracts and documents to legal counsel and achieve excellent customer satisfaction.

This role supports AVEVA's Global Partner organization and works closely with Senior Legal Counsel (Global Partner Program) for guidance and advice.


Responsibilities:

Execute Credit/Background/Trade Compliance checks for new partners and existing partners in the renewal process. Monitor and manage Partner agreements for renewal notifications and subsequent reviews. Receive and process partner agreement requests, ensuring that details of the opportunity are fully captured and understood. Manage the lifecycle of partner agreements, ensuring that:
  • the appropriate terms & conditions and addenda are included;
the required levels of review and approval are applied; and the information required by internal stakeholders is included. Maintain an online repository of Partner agreements and templates, distinguishing between draft and executed contracts; Maintain all other files of the Global Partner Program in an orderly fashion, following and improving (in consultation with management) established systems; Document standard transactions using AVEVA templates, including interacting with all stakeholders and reviewing and correcting drafts; Other responsibilities as assigned. Efficient and accurate processing of contracts High level of internal and external customer satisfaction Display outstanding verbal and written communications skills Work effectively in highpressure situations and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments to provide timely and accurate followup to inquiriesRequirements & Beneficial Confident selfstarter attitude and ability to learn quickly Creative thinking about problem solving and ability to effectively comprehend and relay technical information General working knowledge of commercial/business contracting processes Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask Reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality of information Proficiency in businesslevel mathematics Strong sense of initiative and excellent time management ability Attention to detail and desire to ensure accuracy Professional and friendly demeanor at all times Flexibility regarding working additional hours at times of peak workloads Aptitude to work well under pressure in a demanding environment Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or relevant industry experience will be beneficial Highly motivated Flexible and can adapt to changes Enjoys working independently and as part of a team Can interact successfully with a wide variety of personalities/backgrounds Can build successful relationships within the Commercial Operations and Global Partner organizations
