As a Principal Energy Supply, you will be working directly with our clients and our colleagues from The Boston Consulting Group on projects to unlock additional value from power and gas sales, customer solutions and energy networks, to build new customer service capabilities and to leverage data and digital platforms for establishing new revenue streams for our clients.

You will be responsible for continuously evolving our offering, growing a team of internal and customer-facing IT experts in energy utilities, connecting with new partners and extending our existing strong offering with deep domain and solution expertise.


Shape the world of tomorrow

  • Providing expert support to our clients in the energy industry with a particular focus on energy sales, grids and customer solutions; from requirements analysis, target architecture definition, to solution implementation
  • Supporting the translation of business concepts into artefacts for the actual implementation teams (e.g., use case detailing, capability mapping, requirements engineering, process design, data domains and flow analysis)
  • Defining and designing newbuild and customofftheshelf customer service, sales and energy networks solutions, including CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, scheduling and logistics solutions as well as digital data platforms and value measurement and optimization tools
  • Driving the digital agendas of our clients by supporting them in realizing novel capabilities and setting up their data and systems landscapes for the future
  • Managing largescale transformation programs by steering implementation activities and by providing guidance to the delivery teams (e.g., business analysts, developers, QAs)
  • Enhancing delivery quality by providing guidance on methodological approaches and by ensuring adherence to industry best practices to delivery teams based on deep solution expertise and extensive experience in the energy utilities industry
  • Driving the evolution of our energy platforms, tech capabilities and service offerings in energy utilities to create new opportunities for our energy clients worldwide
  • Building and leading a team of energy utilities experts that work directly with our clients but also develops and runs prototypes and showcases in own environments

This is how you can make a difference

  • You completed an above average degree in computer science, (business) informatics, business administration, energy engineering or another related field
  • You have at least eight years of relevant experience in the context of energy utilities, software development and management of implementation programs predominantly in the energy sales, energy networks or energy solutions industry
  • You have solid experience in leading larger teams of business analysts, developers and QAs, across multiple work streams or multiple projects
  • You are familiar and have handson technical experience in the design, implementation and configuration of industryleading energy utilities solutions, e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud
  • You have exceptional analytical and conceptual skills, a natural drive for creating highquality results and enjoy working with highperforming teams
  • You are willing to bring your communication and presentation skills to the next level to ensure the alignment of teams and organizations to a common goal and sell our concepts and proposals to business and IT stakeholders
  • An active network in trading companies, system vendors and/or system integrators is a plus
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken), German language skills are a plus
