    Global Consultant Digital Underwriting (m/f/d)

    Munich Re's Facultative & Corporate (F&C) Automated Underwriting Team is looking for a highly motivated Consultant to join our team.

    MR F&C is a global business unit responsible for single risk business written as facultative reinsurance or direct.

    Furthermore, Automated Underwriting is part of F&C Operations and in conjunction with the other operation teams equips F&C with a comprehensive landscape of steering, evolving services, innovative UW solutions and the operating platform of the future built together for sustainable bottom-line contributions.

    Our Team's important target is to build up one digital platform for all F&C clients that offers the client 24/7 underwriting services in a highly efficient and automated way.

    The platform combines in a modular way various innovative products at Munich Re and is build and managed by an agile and dynamic team located worldwide across the different Munich Re entities.

    YOUR JOBAnalyse existing or new digital business opportunities, business processes, and identify improvements in close collaboration with business stakeholders and platform architecture teamBeing the primary contact for clients for all digital platform related topics including consulting, sales pitches of the platformUnderstand platform capabilities (in a joint IT and Business approach) Drive the digital transformation and change, enable smart decisionsTogether with the Underwriting teams, grow, build and operate the Digital Reinsurance and Insurance Channel at Munich ReListen carefully to the clients' and Underwriters' needs and concerns and gather, document and manage requirements and change requests for the digital platformYOUR PROFILEUniversity degree, preferably in economics, mathematics, engineering or a recognized professional experience in insuranceEntrepreneurial mindset with focus on generating business and delivery resultsConsistent track record of client services and delivery, first experience in negotiating terms and conditions with clientsStrength in structuring and visualizing workflowsQuick uptake and creative solution finding, open-minded thinking and particularly good decision-making capabilities, strong communication, presentation and intercultural skills Demonstrated emotional intelligence, critical thinking and data intuition(Re)insurance experience with demonstrable knowledge of underwriting products, processes and markets including the different insurance and reinsurance pricing approaches is a plusKnowledge of risk assessment and pricing methods is a plusExperience in IT projects, preferably in requirements engineering or app development is a plusExperience as Strategy Consultant is a plusFluent business English and German mandatory; Join us working on topics today that will concern society tomorrow, whether that be climate change, major construction projects, medical risk assessment or even space travel.
