RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be part of the XSYS sustainability team and support management at corporate and site level on sustainability relevant subjects
• Support and coordinate periodic internal and external sustainability/ ESG reporting and disclosure according to international standards, the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) in particular
• Coordinate, analyze and operationalize periodic external sustainability assessments, e.g. UN Global Compact Communication of Progress (CoP) and CDP
• Support and coordinate investor and customer queries concerning sustainability/ environment, social & governance (ESG)
• Generate, collect, prepare/ process and provide data and information relevant to sustainability/ ESG, database administration and maintenance
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the sustainability/ ESG management system at corporate and site level
• Support projects in environmental protection, e.g. GHG accounting, sustainable procurement, and circular economy
• Observe, identify and track relevant sustainability/ ESG trends and requirements
• Opportunity for learning on the job and professional development
• Willstätt-based, on site and home office
QUALIFICATIONS
• Degree or specialization in sustainability management, environmental sciences or chemist
• 3 years working experience in a management environment will be an asset
• Experience in sustainability management, preferably within a manufacturing company
• Experience in external sustainability/ ESG reporting, e.g. GRI, ESRS
• Experience in external sustainability/ ESG assessments, e.g. UN Global Compact CoP, EcoVadis
• Good understanding of management systems and frameworks
• Sustainability enthusiast with the passion to strive for project and business goals
• Analytical thinking and good understanding of business environments
• Quick comprehension, self-starter mentality and structured workflow
• Good computer literacy and command of MS 365, Excel in particular, ideally experienced in working with online reporting and disclosure platforms
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and German
• Project management skills are beneficial
