Field Sales Specialist, Cleco Cordless - Westhausen

Summary

The Field Sales Specialist (FSS) will report to the Field Sales Manager and have regular interaction with sales marketing, customer service and other support groups.

The FSS is responsible for developing and establishing relationships with end users and distribution and generating end user demand primarily in General Industry and Motor Vehicle Industry.

This business typically requires a very hands-on approach to meet the customer demands and best local competition. The FSS will have responsibility for the Cleco branded tools, with primary focus on the cordless platform.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ownership and development of a geographic territory
  • Build strong relationships with the end user and distribution partners
  • Develop expertise to conduct technical sales presentations & demonstrations
  • Work collaboratively with Cleco Sales Managers and Application Specialists on joint sales activities
  • Participate in end user shows and activities
  • Manage daily schedule as well as longer term planning and scheduling for key customers and projects.
  • Use CRM system to track all activities and major projects and the communicate updates on a weekly basis
  • Solve problems utilizing resources, peers and management at an appropriate level.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Critical Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred, 2 or 4 year technical considered
  • 2 to 5+ years sales or marketing experience
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • Ability to travel throughout territory 75% of the time
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history
  • Must demonstrate selfmotivation at a high level of independence
  • Ability to become proficient in MS Office and CRM platform
  • Fluent in English
