    Job Overview

  • In collaboration with the Scientific and Advocacy Director and Head of Operations create a marketing and branding strategy, ensuring alignment with GloPID-R organizational goals.
  • In collaboration with the Scientific and Advocacy Director, Head of Operations and GloPID-R members create the quarterly GloPID-R newsletter by developing, curating, and formatting content that highlights scientific achievements and updates on GloPID-R member organisations.
  • In collaboration with the Scientific and Advocacy Director and Head of Operations develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with GloPID-R goals.
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of communication and advocacy efforts.
  • Create and update engaging content for GloPID-R website, ensuring it reflects our organization's mission and values.
  • Management of the compilation and monitoring of extensive round-ups covering media and events scan related to infectious disease research.
  • Regularly update internal stakeholders on relevant external activities.
  • Coordinate communication activities with GloPID-R Secretariat and Media Manager to enhance the overall impact of GloPID-R initiatives.

    • Required

  • Master ́s degree in the field of marketing and branding
  • Broad expertise in executing marketing strategies within the framework of global health
  • Full proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken. Fluency in a second or third foreign language will be a plus.
  • Ability to plan, work under pressure and demonstrate availability and responsiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (teamwork both internally and externally, and relations with project partners).
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with partners from diverse backgrounds.
  • A keen interest in infectious disease research, major international partnerships and funding, and communication to improve coordination and collaboration in global health.
  • Prior experience working for an EU-funded project would be appreciated.
