We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Safety Manager to join our dynamic team and help us deliver the next generation of automotive High-Speed Network technology.
As a Functional Safety Manager at Axonne, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the functional safety of our semiconductor products and systems, which are essential for the success of autonomous and connected vehicles.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the functional safety processes, standards, and practices, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety requirements and industry standards.
Develop and maintain the functional safety plan in accordance with ISO 26262 and other relevant standards, outlining safety goals, processes, and milestones for semiconductor development projects.
Lead hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety goal determination activities to identify potential hazards and evaluate associated risks in semiconductor designs and systems.
Safety Concept Development:
Work collaboratively with HW and SW engineering teams to define and develop the safety concept and architecture of semiconductor products, ensuring that safety requirements are integrated into the design.
Oversee safety verification activities, including safety analyses, modeling, and simulations, to validate that the semiconductor products meet safety requirements.
Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams, as well as quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of safety measures throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with OEM, Tier 1, and Tier 2 to ensure all aspects of joint safety engineering development are accomplished in a timely manner according to the project plan.
Compliance and Standards :
Audits and Assessments:
Participate in or lead functional safety assessments and audits, both internally and externally, to ensure the robustness of safety processes.
Conduct training and awareness programs on functional safety principles for internal teams, promoting a safety-conscious mindset.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an Engineering field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in functional safety management in the automotive semiconductor industry.
Familiarity with automotive safety architectures and safety mechanisms.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
