- You develop a cell concept for PEM electrolysis stacks
- You optimise the cell with regard to manufacturing costs, service life and efficiency and thus the best possible LCOH
- You work closely with component managers to create an optimised overall design from individual components
- You identify mechanisms of action and structure-activity correlations, especially with regard to the efficiency and long-term stability of electrolysis cells
- You plan and evaluate the experiments to characterise the electrolysis cell and derive further activities on this basis
- You work closely with external partners from industry and science
- You analyse and monitor the state of the art and research by attending trade fairs and congresses
- You evaluate alternatives and comparable technologies (e.g. AEM)
- You secure the H-TEC IP by creating and promoting invention disclosures through your own considerations but also by motivating colleagues
- You contribute to the creation of KPIs for the cell and the stack development goals
- You have completed a technical degree in mechanical engineering, physics, electrochemistry or comparable studies
- You have several years of experience in the development of electrolysis stacks or fuel cell stacks
- You have extensive experience in the field of thermodynamics
- You are a real expert with your comprehensive, in-depth expertise in the fields of electrical engineering (contact resistances and ohmic components), electrochemistry and mechanics
- You are an initiator with a high degree of independence and a sense of responsibility
- You have strong organisational, coordination, communication and teamwork skills
