Corporate Lean Director (M/F/d)

Your tasks

  • Develop and promote a robust process and mindset around root cause and countermeasure problem solving in support of meeting company objectives
  • Execute lean continuous improvement initiatives to improve ontime delivery, cost, quality, and safety through the deployment of VSM, standard work, pull systems, SMED, transactional process improvement, etc. and ensure sustainability
  • Developing, training and ensuring the use of skills in the use of the appropriate HOM (Hillenbrand Operating Model) Lean and Growth tools
  • Partner with President and function heads to build and maintain a culture of continuous operational improvement that permeates all areas of the company
  • Coaching site leaders and their staff in identifying, understanding, and implementing best practices for lean manufacturing and growth, and continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, cost, innovation, and growth

Your profile

  • A successfully completed degree from a college or university in the field of engineering, business administration or a comparable field
  • Minimum of eight years of experience with Lean enterprise and Lean enterprise tools
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred
  • Lean/CI/OPEX certification or equivalent (IASC or ASQ preferred)
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing/Operational Excellence Principles, Problem Solving, 5 Why, Daily Management, 5S, SMED, Standard Work, 3P, Poke Yoke, etc. is required
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and coach are required
  • Strong leadership and change agent skills are required
  • Business fluent in German and English
