    Publisher Development Manager

    Following the expansion of our publisher network, we are looking for a collaborative, driven, and creative Publisher Development Manager to manage an exciting portfolio of non-editorial Publisher prospects. You'll be passionate about sales and excel at creating and closing new opportunities. Using a consultative approach to selling, you will utilize your expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with new customers including some of the largest publishers in the US, UK, EU, and APAC.     Skimlinks, a Connexity company, is the leading Content-to-Commerce platform that helps publishers monetize their commercial content and assists merchants and brands in reaching potential buyers.

    Skimlinks supports publishers in generating additional revenue through automated affiliate marketing. By consolidating partner programs from various affiliate networks, websites can earn commissions and gain insights into their visitors' purchasing behavior. Clients include Conde Nast, Huffington Post, Business Insider, Buzzfeed, and Refinery29. Our mission is to ensure publishers are fairly compensated for the role their content plays in generating purchase intent and to establish a sustainable funding model for the internet.

    Connexity was acquired by Taboola in 2021 to create an Open-Web source that connects editorial content with product recommendations, allowing readers to easily purchase related products.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing lasting relationships with publishers in Germany
    • Acquiring new customers in the DACH region
    • Optimizing account performance and identifying opportunities to meet publishers' strategic objectives
    • Generating and analyzing reports to track progress and provide strategic insights
    • Evaluating current partnerships and contributing to improvement strategies
    • Pitching and bringing on board potential new publishers
    • Monitoring and documenting customer account progress using internal systems and Excel reports
    • Participating in industry events, conferences, and client meetings

    Requirements

    • Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
    • Experience in business development and/or account management, preferably in a large publisher or another online advertising technology platform
    • Proficient in various online marketing channels such as performance, display, PPC, and SEO
    • Familiarity with working with technologies and diverse teams
    • Fluent in German and English
