Your Role

You will be responsible for both leading individual contributors and other team leaders, overseeing the formation and growth of the team's structure.

Your primary focus will be on providing strong leadership, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and empowering your teams to make autonomous decisions by setting clear goals and responsibilities.

The main challenges of these teams lie in working on low-level network components, demanding the creation of highly performant code and architecture, both horizontally and vertically scalable.

Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the teams to push the boundaries of what is possible on cloud infrastructure.

The position can be based remotely in Germany or in one of the office locations in Berlin or Würzburg.

Your Impact

Your teams ensure that a global fleet of devices can attach and exchange data globally by building and running all corenetwork components (HLR/HSS, PGW, SMSC) in software distributed across multiple regions close to our customers devices
You will drive excellence in craft, ensuring that the development teams consistently deliver highperformance and scalable solutions.
Your leadership will empower crossfunctional teams to innovate and explore new possibilities of network development and cloud infrastructure, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved.
By fostering a culture of autonomy and clear responsibility, you will enable your teams to make informed decisions and drive impactful outcomes.
As the team structure is forming and opportunities for growth abound, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our development organization and driving the achievement of our strategic goals.

Your Skills

Proven experience in leading and guiding technical teams, both individual contributors and team leaders. Ability to set clear goals, provide feedback, and support career development while fostering a culture of crossfunctional collaboration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive alignment and achieve common objectives.
A deep understanding of developing lowlevel network components, performance optimization, and horizontally and vertically scalable architectures is essential.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and automation to drive efficiency and reliability in the development process. Strong technical knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying uptodate with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in our domain.
