Your responsibilities

Support overall project management as a deputy project manager / sub-project leader in all technical aspects for the development and realization of large-scale carbon capture plants (investment volume >100 million ) across Europe
Act as a cross-project know-how resource for your specific discipline (Process, E&IC, Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
Collaborate closely with external engineering service providers and E.ON's commercial project management to develop and finalize tendering documents for the procurement of CO2 capture plants and relevant equipment
Execute complete work packages for the technical implementation of onsite Carbon Capture plants from the concept phase to commissioning
Lead negotiations with EPC and equipment suppliers, as well as engineering companies, and oversee coordination during planning and implementation phases
Support permitting activities conducted by the permit manager and external consultants
Take charge of technical design, budget setup and controlling, project management, and milestone reporting for designated work packages within the Carbon Capture project

Your qualifications

3+ years of project management or engineering experience in power plants or large-scale chemical installations
Proficient in engineering, procurement, and tendering procedures
University Degree or similar in one of the disciplines process/ electrical/ instrumentation and control/ civil/ chemical/ mechanical engineering
Extensive professional experience in implementation projects, e.g., within energy, utility, chemical or pharmaceutical sectors, oil and gas, or engineering service providers
Practical experience with carbon capture systems, CO2 liquification or similar gas handling and processing systems is a plus
Demonstrates strong intrinsic motivation, diligence, openness to learning, and thrives in interdisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, fluent in English and preferably German
