    Strategic Project Buyer (f/m/d) Process Automation

    Your responsibilities

    • Purchasing in the project business environment: Grant procurement support for projects from the sales phase to project implementation (end-to-end)
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies for relevant commodities, taking into account company targets and our sustainability principles
    • Manage supplier relationships professionally, i.e., search for new business partners, qualify/audit, support and develop them
    • Strategically manage sourcing events and be committed to ensure competitive bidding (Source-to-contract)
    • Execute challenging negotiations with suppliers incl. claim management
    • Create and manage complex contracts and purchase orders (Procure-to-Pay)
    • Drive project management along the supply chain to secure deliveries on time and in budget
    • Cooperate with our international project teams within the HUB Central and South Europe

    Your background

    • Qualified university degree with a business and/or technical focus
    • Several years of professional experience in purchasing in an internationally operating company
    • Strong methodological skills in strategic procurement, preferably in plant engineering/project business
    • Willingness to take on temporary special projects (operational excellence)
    • Broad negotiation experience, contractual expertise as well as secure MS Office and SAP skills
    • Fluent written and spoken German and English, further foreign language skills most welcome
    • Strong communicator, team player, able to work independently on projects
    • Willingness to travel (30%, mostly within Europe)
